Despite being a guesthouse, Sokcho Hutte’s strong price-quality ratio has earned itself ratings as high as famous hotels in online reservation websites. It is especially popular for tourists who plan to explore Sokcho by foot as it is located only a minute away from the Sokcho Intercity Bus Terminal and sights, such as Sokcho Jungang Market and Yeonggeumjeong Pavilion. The Gaetbae Boat pier to Abai Village is also reachable within a 10–20 min walk. The hotel is located in the city center, but the lack of high buildings nearby means that there are no obstructions to the views, and the windows are filled with sunlight all day long. The facilities are clean and organized, and the plants, drawings, and small items make for a comfortable space. There are six rooms in total, which range from the female-only four-person dormitory to Double rooms and two-person rooms with bunk beds. Dormitory beds are equipped with curtains and small lights for privacy. The fact that each room having an attached bathroom instead of a shared one is also a plus. Moreover, the first floor's lounge area, which is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a water cooler, has a Bluetooth speaker, books, maps, and tourist guides for lounging or planning. However, the lounge is open only until 23:00 to ensure that all visitors have adequate rest. Free breakfast that consists of a sandwich and beverages is available every morning. The management also offers pickup services (upon request) and English services for international visitors.
